Coach Dixon

It was a great summer. The school year is off and running. The team came back in great shape with a wonderful attitude. We are into our fall program full bore, our weights training, our skill development and our conditioning. The seniors Lee Stephens, Kali Holtfreter, Mollie Petersen, and Susan Troutman are doing an excellent job of leadership. We are so proud of Mollie for being honored as a Furman Fellow. It is a very prestigious honor. I want to leave you with the quote:
Follow the three R's
-Respect for self
-Respect for others
-Responsibility for all your actions

Mollie Petersen
It's Mollie here from the Furman Women's Basketball Team. I'm a senior this year and I can't believe it! I'm a Physics and Environmental Studies major from Asheville, North Carolina. I love playing basketball, hanging out with my friends, and taking pictures. The best thing about taking pictures is being able to look back at the amazing things I've done over the past four years -- Athletic Field Day, hanging out with friends, teammates, and coaches, building a huge swan from 2,000 plastic water bottles for the Environmental Action Group, and going to New Orleans for three weeks last May! Furman has provided numerous opportunities to grow and I'm looking forward to what this year has to offer!
